Available in various thicknesses, colors, adhesives, release liners and sizes make them ideal for a wide range of applications and suitable to many industries.

SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

Animation Cells

Catalina Graphic Films has been the world's largest supplier of triacetate cels to the animation industry for over 30 years. We offer our Premium Plus Animation Cel for both television and feature production, which is considered the finest quality in the industry. Disney, Warner Brothers/Hanna Barbara, Fox and numerous other studios, both domestic and overseas use our Premium Cels. Catalina is one of the few converters to supply cels in sheet and roll form, in clear or matte. Custom sizes are readily available. We also have special media used extensively for hand painted Gallery Cels, Limited Editions and Sericels.

Holographics

For outstanding visual effects, Catalina’s 2.0 mil Holographic vinyls are brighter than any traditional type product presently available. These holographic films are clear embossed films available in various patterns, and are metallized to create 3-D and prismatic patterns. The resulting special effects create eye-catching signage such as decoratives, posters, children’s toys, game cards, labels and lettering on banners.

Polycarbonate

Polypropylene

A variety of polypropylene films are available in clear, white, opaque and embossed finishes. Offering good dimensional stability and outdoor durability, these films can be printed by a wide variety of printing processes including screen and offset. Applications include labels, decals, overlaminating and banners.

Prepared for Print (P.F.P)

Catalina has the capability to "Tip" or "Prepare for Print" (P.F.P.) plastic films so that they may be offset printed. This entails attaching offset paper to the sheet to be printed by gluing it along the long (gripper) edge with either a solid or dotted glue line. Materials that can be tipped include: acetate, polyester, rigid vinyl, petg, and oriented polystyrene.

Roll Label Films

Styrene

High impact polystyrene specifically designed for screenprint or litho printing. Standard finishes are matte/matte, opaque white. Custom finishes and colors are available. Oriented polystyrene (OPS) is available in clear, matte, or white.

Transfer Tape

Converting non-pressure sensitive films—such as membrane switches, posters, mouse-pads, decals and medical applications—into pressure sensitive materials is easy with Catalina’s transfer tapes and double-sided films. We carry a wide selection in various gauges with numerous types of adhesives, including permanent two sides, removable two sides, or permanent one side and removable one side.
